(5/10/06 - Mooresville, NC) - When the ARCA RE/MAX Series rolls into the Kentucky Speedway on May 13 for the Harley Davidson of Cincinnati 150, the fifth event of the 2006 season, Brandon Knupp is aiming for a solid finish at the 1.5 mile oval, located just south of Cincinnati.

With four previous races under his belt at the Kentucky Speedway , both races of the 04' and 05' seasons, Knupp is looking to enhance his performance in the Blue Grass State. In the spring event in 2005 Brandon drove the MK Racing Taurus to a strong 10th place finish. "We had a good car for this race last year and ended up with a Top-10 finish, I think this year we're a little better, so I'm heading to Kentucky looking for a Top-5." Said Brandon, "We are struggling with finances right now and we're actively seeking marketing partners, but we're not going to let that effect how we run at Kentucky, or any where else for that matter. We had a car capable of winning the race at Winchester and just had a miscue on pit road which set us back for the rest of the race. We're looking for brighter days at Kentucky."

The entry list for the Harley Davidson of Cincinnati boasts a sturdy 49 entries to date, including several "Development Drivers" along with the regulars who show up for the speedway races, but Brandon and MK Racing are prepared for the task at hand and steer into the Kentucky event optimistic for a strong performance.

Brandon, a contender in the Racin' for A Livin' competition is currently 11th in the voting standings for the reality television show and is steadily moving up the ballot.

The #96 Mark Knupp Muffler & Tire Ford will be at the Kentucky Speedway on Friday May 12 with a Practice Session from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Saturday May 13 will see Pork Pole Qualifying at 9:45 am with the start of the Harley Davidson of Cincinnati 150 at 3:00 PM. The ARCA RE/MAX Series is preceded by the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series race at 1:30 PM. Brandon will be participating in a Kentucky Speedway autograph session at the track at 1:30 PM on Saturday.
